I grew up on a small homestead in Middle Tennessee. I developed a deep love for stewarding God's creation through regenerative farming and permaculture. When I was in college, I had a vision to start a school for all ages to be able to come explore His creation while finding community, rest, and fellowship. I knew I loved to teach as that was the only job I had ever done and the only job I ever wanted- first through music lessons, teaching preschool, teaching Krav Maga, and tutoring. I LOVED to teach, because it offered the opportunity to connect with someone and show them God's love. I wanted to make people feel seen, honored, and loved.

I directed an outdoor nature tutorial for homeschoolers for several years- and it was absolutely incredible. Then, my first son came along and I realized that the balance I had struck between teaching/being home was off.

My husband and I now have the opportunity to start a school of our own and we are SO EXCITED. We are absolutely thrilled to share with you our vision and mission to bring a place of rest and fellowship for families who are not satisfied with the status quo. We hope you will join us in the shade.
